Indispensible… your everyday coffee shots. There are at least five bars in this small village where you can reload your energy with cafein. We walk to the intersection. At the bar on this hotspot you find the older guys chillin’. We try and have a chat, catch some sun on the bench in front while sipping the dark liquid. The flashing traffic lights. And when we arrive early enough, we may still obtain a fresh pastel de nata, our guilty pleasure…

We try to reproduce good coffee at home and buy a real percolator. Throw back student life… unfortunately we do not succeed in finding the right coffee melange and process a drinkable cup. This is for pro’s only!

Actually you go for a coffee or a drink to bars all day, as this is so very affordable. Why bother to try to imitate that at home. With every cup of coffee come two bags of sugar. Coffee so strong your spoon will stay up straight. A glass of water to wash this all down. Have a seat. Try not to be a foreigner and exchange some words with the locals.
