Vilar, just another village

When on a stroll through the village you may come across a workshop for agricultural and craftsmen tools. People are having a chat. You can buy all kinds of stuff, from hardware to seed potatoes, from all kinds of beans to animal food.
Cristina en Jorge run a mini supermarket. You won’t find it until they open their door. This shop may not be larger than 25 m2 but it delivers all daily necessities for the community. And when they don’t have it in stock, they will get it for you.
There is a butcher. And a ‘Shop of Bob’ that sells anything and where the cashier is also your barber in the back of the store. There is a shop that sells paint, one for clothes and linnen, and even a giftshop. And there is a small municipal office with very select opening hours. Fresh bread is delivered by vans. And when you missed them all there is always a chance you can obtain a loaf of bread from the bar across the church…
